Betsy Lane has assisted in developing private and public fine art collections for over twenty five years. We are an independent art consultancy which provides artistic direction and commissioning service to a range of clients. We believe that art creates a sense of pride and is a tangible reflection of our connection to the community.
Betsy Lane established Del Mar Sculpture Garden in 1998 following eighteen years as a gallery owner in San Diego. She has built numerous collections, curated over 50 exhibitions, and has established working relationships with hundreds of artists, collectors and art world professionals.
In 1998 Betsy relocated to Del Mar and opened the Del Mar Sculpture Garden. In 2004 she began curating a sculpture garden at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara, in addition to the garden at Parisi Design. As a board member of the Del Mar Public Art Committee, she has helped the city develop public workshops with artists interacting with the community.
Lane gives her clients the option of purchasing works, or when appropriate, site specific commissioned works that integrate the work with the environment. A specific program is developed for each client based on their needs and areas of interest.
